Tax Reform
– The CGSN updates the Simples Nacional rules to adapt them to the Consumption Tax Reform, including new election deadlines and the possibility of the so-called “hybrid Simples Nacional.”
– The Federal Revenue Service and the IBS Management Committee will launch a compliance program to encourage the reporting of IBS and CBS fields in electronic tax documents.
– The new web-based NFS-e issuer now includes specific fields for IBS and CBS, seeking to increase compliance with the new tax obligations.

– The Federal Revenue Service opens new opportunities for negotiating debts under administrative tax disputes, with the possibility of discounts, installment plans and the use of tax credits.

– The National Congress will establish a committee to analyze MP No. 1,357/2026, which provides for the exemption from Import Tax on international purchases of up to US$ 50.
